But another agent, Frank Horton, shows up and tries to kill Moses. Moses kills most of Horton's crew and escapes with the help of Boggs, who had faked his death.
Boggs explains to Moses they are being hunted in connection with a Cold War operation known as Nightshade. Moses and Boggs get Sarah and the trio head to Paris to track down a lead on Nightshade, with the elite assassin Han chasing them.
Once in Paris, they are confronted by Russian secret agent Katya, Moses's ex-girlfriend. With her help, they find a French weapons dealer known as The Frog, who leads the four on a car chase throughout the city before he is caught.
Moses and company then find documents in The Frog's possession that provide them with information on Nightshade and the man behind it, a brilliant physicist named Edward Bailey.
With the help of MI6 assassin Victoria Winslow, they break into the asylum where Bailey has been held for more than 30 years and free him.
Bailey tells the group exactly what Nightshade is and where it is located. They must travel to both Moscow and London to secure Nightshade, again with the assassin Han still on their tail.

An explosive sequel to the first, and in my opinion, every bit as good. Good ol' Frank Moses is still trying to enjoy being retired, but it's just not possible.
Marvin still thinks people are after them, and he's right, this time in the shape of his former buddy Han Cho-Bai, and a mysterious conspiracy to free a mad scientist who could cause the world to be destroyed.
It's crash bang wallop all the way, proving that you really can have laughs and mindless destruction at the same time.
And of course, there's the immortal line where Catherine Zeta Jones says she find bald men attractive.
I'm bald. As a film excellent and as a sequel, brilliant. OK, so we've probably seen the plot or storyline a few times or certainly something very similar but the way ALL these actors all gel-together is marvellous.
For once the 'extras' are good with a gag reel and 'behind the scenes featurette' rayher than the Directors Commentary, which I think is ridiculous to say is an extra.

Well worth adding to your collection. Report abuse. I wanted to watch this based on my experience of watching the first movie. A good fun filled romp, not quite up to the standard of the original and indeed nothing in the script to challenge the skills of the actors.
The action was fast and furious, good sound, though more could have been done to engage the rear channels of a system. Sometimes the dialogue was a little lost in the mix and I found myself re winding to catch up missed plot lines.

I did see this in the theater and liked it better than '1'. Good ol' Frank Moses is still trying to enjoy being retired, but it's just not possible.
